Any text based file will work perfectly. A general rule of thumb is :"If you can open it in Notepad it will work".

The only issue that a customer experienced, that we were not able to fix, was regarding the searching and replace of some special symbols and characters out side of the normal ASCII character set. We added in version 2.3 the ability to select the encoding type for both reading and writing files. This solves 99% of the special symbol problems.

Activating your license will allow you to do replacements. Until you activate, you will only be able to search for files.

Click on the Activate Product menu option under the Application Menu. The Application Menu is the GSR logo in the top left corner of the application. You will need to use the email address that you purchased the software with and the serial number that was emailed to you in your Order Confirmation.

First, you need to deactive the license on the original pc by going to the Activate Product menu option under the Application Menu. The Application Menu is the GSR logo in the top left corner of the application.

Next, you install the application on the new pc and then activate using the email address and serial number you received in your order confirmation.
